Statement from the team coach Winfried Schäfer

Winfried Schäfer: When Al Khour asked me to help them in a difficult situation, it was clear to me that I would attend and support the club. I have played several times against teams from Qatar and I can witness the remarkable progress the entire country has made in football. Being a part of this wonderful journey is wonderful and I look forward to the coming weeks. I have worked in all parts of the world and through my experience I can contribute to the already distinguished culture of Qatari football. In Al Khor we focus first on the next match, and always the next match until we end with enough points to stay in the league. It won't be easy, but everyone in Naderi is motivated.
