Al-Khor reached the round of 16 in the Emir’s Cup

Al-Khor reached the quarter-finals of the 2024 Prince’s Football Cup, defeating Lusail by two goals to one, in the match that took place today at Saud bin Abdul Rahman Stadium, as part of the preliminary stage competitions in which 8 second-class clubs participated. The goals of Al-Khor were scored by Abdulaziz Hazza and the Brazilian Lucas in the 80th and 90th + 7 minutes, while Saud Abdullah scored Lusail's only goal in the 18th minute. Al-Khor achieved success in the last minutes, scoring the equalizer through Abdulaziz Hazza with a shot from outside the penalty area in the 80th minute, before the Brazilian Lucas scored the second goal, after confronting the goalkeeper from a pass from the Algerian Sufyan Hani in the 90th + 7th minute, giving Al-Khor the advantage. Victory and a pass to the round of sixteen of the competition.
